The renovation work at the Hammer Specialist Store in Wesel, located at Schermbecker Landstraße 15, is now complete. The store, which is part of our retail sales line, reopened its doors on 6 July 2023. Featuring new design elements and technical innovations, a large number of customers celebrated at the modernised premises.
Renovations began in April, 2023. Fresh and modern was the order of the day and the result is now a timeless design of the retail area. In addition to bright colours and large-format graphics, pictures with motifs from the region have found their way into the specialist store. There were also several modernisation efforts: For example, heating pumps were installed and three digital video steles placed. “By using video screens, we have even more opportunities to inform our customers of the latest offers and crafts services. We are delighted to have taken another step towards digitalisation,” reports store manager Alexander Maiworm.
The external appearance of the market has also changed. A minimalistic and modern look has been incorporated into the façade design with new window stickers rounding off the overall impression.

Over more than 1,200 square metres of retail space, customers from Wesel and the surrounding area will now find selected products ranging from paints, wallpapers, curtains, sun protection, floor coverings, carpets, bathroom furnishings, beds and home accessories. Hammer employees provide excellent advice and with their professional expertise in all aspects of individual interior design and creative ideas, our will employees help you make your home even more beautiful. The expert sales team welcomes its customers from Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 19:00 and on Saturday from 09:00 to 18:00.
“This is a new chapter for our store and absolutely wonderful to be able to offer our customers a brand new shopping experience and the finest in home design. We are excited to be back in Wesel,” Maiworm says. In addition to current offers and a large product selection, customers can also rely on the Hammer Crafts Service – carried out by the company’s own professionals.

“To make it even easier for our valued customers to design their dream homes, we offer a comprehensive range of services in addition to the advisory skills of our store staff. Individual renovation and decoration is carried out directly on site by our own craftspersons,” Maiworm reports.
